At the age of five in our home in Findlay, Ohio, I asked Jesus to save me.  My parents gave me the privilege of being reared in a Christian home.  I attended a Christian school until the sixth grade and then a public school until the end of my junior year. I was home-schooled my senior year.  My wife was also reared in a Christian home and started attending Grace Baptist Church in Delaware, Ohio, at age seven. She was saved at the age of 14 at her church.

In January of 1997, God called me to preach. In March of the same year, I went to Pastors’ School for the first time. It was there that God led me to Hyles-Anderson College to prepare for the ministry. During the spring semester of 1999 in my freshman year at college, I was privileged to hear Brother Mark Bachman preach in the college’s Missions Conference. Under his preaching, I surrendered to go to England as a missionary.

My wife attended Hyles-Anderson College after graduating from Grace Baptist School. Little did we know that we would work on the same bus route in South Chicago and become friends for a lifetime. We dated during college and were married one week after I graduated from college in May of 2002. My wife then graduated in May of 2003.

On August 10,2006 God allowed Holly and me to see our first son, David Benjamin, born into the world.  Jonathan Levi was born on June 18, 2008.  We are enjoying our 2 sons so much!  Please pray God will give us the wisdom and guidance to rear our children up to please Him.

God has made it very clear and evident to us that we are to start Grace Baptist Church of Enfield. It is without doubt that God has opened this door and we are ecstatic to have a part in seeing a new church started biblically and with a firm foundation on the Word of God. So many “pieces of the puzzle” have been put together for the church to start next month. Please pray much for the church starting with the “Get Acquainted Meetings” on October 11-14, 2009 and the “Grand Opening” service on October 18th! I believe God has some amazing things in store for us next month, and we desperately need your prayers and support.

Our sending church has put together a team of 14 people that will be coming to help with starting Grace Baptist Church! More than 6 churches here in the UK will be helping in some way to get the church started! 40,000 John and Romans will be distributed in 1 weeks time, 20,000 flyers will be given out promoting the new church, newspaper ads going to nearly 90,000 homes will be delivered, and much work is being put into this to make the church start a possibility. We are excited, in awe of what God has done and is doing, and are thrilled to be a part to get the Gospel to the people of northern London. Please pray about what God would have you do to have a part in helping to start Grace Baptist Church.

Several things we need help with:

1. Please pray much for this church start. We must have the mighty helping hand of God all over this new ministry. We covet your prayer during this time.

2. We need others to join us in coming and helping with the “Get Acquainted Meetings and the “Grand Opening”. Please pray about what God would have you in coming and being a help to the needy people of England.
